Beginnings: Eden to Abram (Genesis 3-12)

In the beginning when God created the heavens and earth, he created man in his image. He gave them one purpose: multiply and fill the earth. He spoke and gave them paradise on a silver platter. Adam and Eve had food, gold, each other, and fellowship with God. They lacked nothing. We have asked an important question from the beginning of our study in Genesis: why? Why does God give man numerous blessings and tell him to fill the entire earth?
