The people of God are told to endure, calling for them to continue to keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus (14:12). But the gloomy doom is predicted: “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” Chapter 15 of Revelation describes the preparations being made for the fulfillment of these prophecies of the coming doom against the Roman Empire.
