In last week’s lesson we rid ourselves of the notion that God is the cause of all things that happen in this world. The scriptures remind us that Satan is very active in this world, working now in the disobedient. We also rid ourselves of the idea that everything happens for a reason. The scriptures tell us that time and chance are factors in this world. Therefore, there is such a thing as being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
